Rivington Theme – Change background color?
-
Hello,
I can’t find how to change the main background color from the deep navy to what I want.
My other WP sites have the option to do so under Customizing, but this one only seem’s to have it for certain blocks.
Any advice?
Thanks!

Hi there,
Rivington doesn’t have an option for a custom background, no.
First, add this CSS to the Customizer:
body { background-color: red; }You’ll see it changes some of the colors but not all. The ones that it doesn’t change are actually changing the colors from inside the blocks themselves:
The Built Year, About Agent and Built for the future sections are made up of a columns block inside a Group block, and with them the background color is set on that group block. So you’d need to select that block in the editor, and remove the custom color set to have the default color apply.
If you’re having trouble selecting the group blocks, try clicking on the section directly above the columns section, and then use the down arrow on your keyboard to cycle through the blocks on the page. That will help you see the pattern of some blocks nested in others, and also enable you to select the group block that’s the top level in each case.
