robots text file invalid

    Hi, I am unsure — well actually, I have no clue how to fix this. On my blog http://hodgepodgeblog4tishrei.wordpress.com/ I ran a check on “is my blog working.” I received the following message:

    # Your robots.txt file appears to be invalid:
    Line 0: <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC “-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN” “http://www.w3.or

    I understand that I do not need to worry about items marked with a yellow star. However the one I quote above is marked with a red x and highlighted in red. That seems something I should look at and try and correct.

    I’m pretty good at following directions so if anyone could point me in the right direction to correct this, I would really appreciate it.

    I just did an “ismyblogworking” on that blog and the robots.txt file has a green checkmark beside it indicating it is fine. It might have been a temporary glitch between ismy… and wordpress or something.

    All looks good now though.
