  My blog (finlandpolitics.org) is not on Google, but it is well referenced in Yahoo etc. When I type my blog address in Google, it says: “A description for this result is not available because of this site’s robots.txt – learn more.” What can I do?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  HI there,

  I just checked your settings and it looks like you set your site to private. You set your Site Visibility setting to:

  I would like my site to be private, visible only to myself and users I choose

  If you would like search engines to index your site, please set your site to public. It will not be immediate and can take weeks for it to show up again. Unfortunately, I can’t give you an exact timeframe as it is up to Google. We at WordPress.com send them the updated info and Google will make the update.

  no, you are wrong: I have set my site since the beginning on “Allow search engines to index this site” and I am perfectly searchable for example in Yahoo where I appear among the first sites when I make a search on keywords. It is specific to Google. can you do something?
