google, yahoo, and bing cannot find my site and i have the setting for allowing serch engines to index my site. google shows a robot.txt file that has various disallows

Disallows are normal – that keeps search engines from areas that have no user content in them
How old is your site? – takes 4 to 6 weeks for search engines to index a new site
I did not see any original content, your site seems to be an you just have two sentences then a link to the original content (this is called agrigating but I can’t spell it) (collecting others content with a link back) all search engines downgrade sites like yours

I just made it public last week and yes I have not posted much yet but just thought the robot.txt error would go away quickly. Understand now, thank you!

It takes weeks for search engines to index content. What attracts search engines is unique content the cannot in posts that cannot be found anywhere else on the internet. Since you opened the site last week – don’t look for the site in a search engine for at lest 5 more weeks
