  Our director passed away and we need access to our admin level to update our site. How can we do this?

  Hi there,

  We’ll be able to transfer ownership of the WordPress.com account to you if you could please mail/email us the following:

  * A copy of the deceased user’s death certificate.

  * A power of attorney or legal document stating your authority to act on behalf of the deceased, or a signed, notarized statement including:

  – Your first and last name
  – Your current contact information
  – Your email address
  – Your relationship to the deceased user
  – The action you’re requesting (e.g., “Please transfer ownership of the account.”)

  You will need to reach out to the site host in order to gain access to the site.
