Rogue Consultant
-
I have a previous consultant that has ordered WooCommerce capabilities for my website that I cannot access, I think because he must have ordered under his account with my credit card info – and I need this change immediately! I cannot find an inroad for WooCommerce anywhere to address this problem – please help!

Hi there!
WooCommerce has a dedicated support site where they can help you out. These links will get you to the right place.

Thanks Ryan – but these links are not helping me in this situation. The consultant refuses to forward the subscription to my email/account – so I do not have access to take control of the subscription, or change anything about it, because I do not have access to it. What can I do? Is there no-one I can talk to or discuss a resolution with? I appreciate your help – thank you!

Hello!
WooCommerce itself is free, so if you own the site (it is registered with your WordPress account as the site owner), you can download the WooCommerce plugin from your WordPress account, uninstall the current version and re-upload the plugin with your credentials. If you have a lot of products, that may be more complicated.
If you are talking about the entire WordPress site, it may not be that simple. Whomever the “owner” of the site is would have to initiate the transfer with WordPress support.
It would be tough to say without knowing the details of the agreement entered for the developer to build the site.
Did you speak to the WooComemerce support staff yet?
