rogue link, and home page query

  A blank box which seems to be a link appears at the top of each page, which I can’t get rid of, above the picture I am using

  Not sure how this is happened, and can I get rid of it?

  And also, the home URL goes to a blog page, whereas I would prefer it to go to the ‘about’ page above – can I make that into the home page somehow, and then set up a separate blog page?

  I have visited your site and was unable to see a blank box, are you still having trouble?

  If so, could you provide more detail about what you’re seeing and perhaps a screenshot if possible as TimeTheif mentioned?

  It looks like you may have already done this, good work! For future reference, to set a static home page you can do that by following this guide:
