Rollover or Hover effect without Javascript
-
Since Javascript isn’t supported here, is there a way to add a rollover effect to an image on a page or project with CSS? Images will need to be click-thru links and also just static with the hover effect.

@colordynetech, did the links @timethief gave help any? If not, can you point me to some images you wish to have a rollover effect on, and let me know what sort of effect you desire and I’ll see what I can do.

Yes, thank you @timethief, those were helpful but it’s not exactly the desired feel I’m going for and was able to achieve that by inserting a gallery. However, NOW I’m wondering if there’s a way to make gallery images link to other pages on the site without opening up a photo gallery?

Project images on the portfolio page link to individual projects, and that cannot be changed. Same is true for Galleries. You can choose to have the images link to some different things when setting up the gallery, but you cannot set a custom link.
You can link individual images inserted into pages or posts to anything you wish, and some simple hover effects can be added to those images with CSS.
Can you give me an idea of what you want for a hover effect and I can see if it is possible.
