Rookie Needs Step By Step Assistance

    Can somebody please tell me how to connect my blog to facebook and twitter? I have the facebook “like” button enabled for my facebook page, but I would also like to connect to my personal facebook and also twitter.
    Also, I have added a category (My Poetry) to my blog posts, and I want to know whether it makes more sense to just leave my poetry posts uncatergorized? What are the advantages and drawbacks? The differences?
    In addition to all of that, I would appreciate any feeedback or advice you may have on how I can make my blog better, so if you have the time and patience please visit my blog and share with me your ideas. Thank you so much! Peace and Love.

    You can post a Facebook badge in your sidebar. http://en.support.wordpress.com/facebook-badge/

    You can install the Facebook like box widget found here > Appearance > Widgets > Facebook Like box widget

    You can also enable sharing buttons on your posts, pages and index pages.
    Also note the “like” button.

    You can set up Publicize and publish to your Facebook profile page > http://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/

    Alternatively you can use Networked Blogs http://www.networkedblogs.com/ or RSS Grafitti http://www.facebook.com/RSS.Graffiti for posting to Facebook walls if you prefer.

    RSS Graffiti periodically checks the RSS/Atom feeds that you specify and posts any new entries it finds to the Facebook Walls that you specify.

    You can get any feed written on any wall (Facebook Profiles, Fan Pages, Groups, Events and Application Profile Pages). In fact, multiple feeds to multiple walls. You choose the combination.

    There is no advantage whatsoever gained by assigning the default category “categorized” to your blog. You can set up a default category that’s appropriate for your content.

    Also as you are posting poetry see here > Writing and Formatting Poetry

    Go to Settings > Writing and select “ ___ WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically” and then scroll down and click “Save Changes.”

    Now, starting with your latest post, open it in the editor, make one minor change such as adding a space and then deleting it, and then click “Update Post.” Check your blog and see if it is back to normal.

    You can post into the Off-Topic Forum to receive feedback from other bloggers here at WordPress.com. You can post to the Showcase Forum to promote your blog.

    At the bottom of your Admin page you will find a Support link to all support documentation. The searchbox there provides results from both the docs and forum threads.

    Also ate the bottom of your Admin page you will find a link to the Learn WordPress.com blogging tutorial prepared by Staff.

    You’re welcome. I chose this username after I twice escaped death. Then I realized how precious life was and how important it was to invest my time where it counted. That was long before the snapper whippers (special snowflakes) attributed a negative connotation to the handle. ;) If I hadn’t had those 2 experiences then you wouldn’t be getting my blog consultant services on this peer support forum free of charge. lol :D
