  Hi!

  I’m trying to make the Instagram (pre-footer widget) images slightly larger and even shaped.

  Can someone please help me with the css for that?

  Try this

  .wpcom-instagram-images a img {
      height: 175px;
  }

  you can set height: 175px; to whatever height you want and you might want to write a few media queries to adjust it for screen sizes
