rotating slideshow of text (ie: daily cooking tips) in sidebar

  Hi. On my sidebar, I would like to put in a bunch of cooking tips that would rotate at some ‘xx’ second interval. Is this possible via a widget?.. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

  Panos also has others that might be less “showy”

  warning, though, they slow down the time it takes to view your site.

  Well, as I said, the scrolling messages do slow the loading time.

  It seems like a good idea. Panos has some gigya posts for widget news or quote-of-the-day which might be more useful if only one could put in the text one’s self.
