Row background color full length, w/ content in container using Visual Composer
-
I am using Visual Composer bundled with my LUSH Theme from Iron Templates. My question, is it possible to have a background color in a row go “full width,” while the elements within the row run “in container”? Currently I want the background for each alternate row section to run black and white. But if I attempt to put the elements within that row, such as an instagram feed or youtube videos, “in container,” it also affects my background color and leaves a border around the edges. If I leave the entire section as “full width” it looks too cluttered. I can artificially create an edge in full width by designating a padding quantity in the design options. But this isn’t a true fix as it will lead to awkward displays depending on the display being used. I was hoping there was something I was overlooking.

For the issues you’re describing it would be best to contact your theme’s designer/developer directly, as they’re in the best position to help you. Else you can try the self-hosted WordPress forums here:
