Rowling theme question

    Hi. Just a quick question. When adding in the categories widget or the latest post widget, I am unable to get the header to show up such as “Recent Posts” and then the posts underneath, or the word “Categories” and then the categories underneath. Or a “Welcome” block with the word “Welcome” and then the blurb underneath.

    Any help would be appreciated. thanks!

    Hi there,

    WordPress 5.8 that came out late last year introduced block widgets, that is, widgets created via the blocks you also use in the editor. And block widgets don’t have titles by default.

    But if you add the widget inside a Widget Group block, that lets you set the title on the Widget Group block instead. I see that’s how it’s currently set up on your site, so looks like you figured this out, but let me know if you still have any questions about this :)
