Rowling Theme Update Available?

  I keep getting this message, but what are the new features of the update and how would I access them if I want to do the update?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi @vonisun, I see you are on the WordPress.com Business Plan, and looking at the latest Rowling update, I see no new features, and the last three updates were for languages added or updated.

  Generally it is always best to update themes and plugins when updates become available since they might include bug fixes and security updates.

  With themes from the WordPress.com collection (like Rowling), there is no need to do manual updates; we update the theme files for you, so you won’t see any update prompts.

  The update notifications that I’m seeing on your site are from some of your plugins, not the theme. It’s a good idea to keep all plugins updated. If you want to know more about what’s included in a plugin update, you can visit that plugin’s information page. If you want to update a plugin, click the “update” link or plugin where you see it in your dashboard.

  Every day in my Activity it says Rowling Theme Updates Available

  If it was updating automatically I wouldn’t word that message that way if I were JetPack or WordPress or whoever.

  Sydney – that does sound confusing! I’d love to see a screenshot of exactly where you’re seeing this message so I can look into it further. Would you mind taking one of the whole browser window so I see the message in context?

  You can upload the screenshot – in a graphic format like JPG, PNG, or GIF – in your Media Library, and provide a link so I can see it, or upload it with a service like Imgur or Snaggy.
