rRe-register Deleted Blog Address

  Dear Sir,

  I accidentally deleted the blog address “amitbalani.wordpress.com”. I am trying to re-register the blog address but I get this message:
  “amitbalani.wordpress.com is no longer available. The authors have deleted this site.”

  Since nobody else is using this address, is it not possible for me to get it back?
