  I’m try to get the RSS Aggregator on my blog. I’ve uploaded the file, but where do I go from here? How do I get it on the widget page?

  Anyone who can help?

  Are you hosted here at wordpress.com? What is the URL of your wordpress.com blog?

  If you are self-hosted using the software downloaded from wordpress.org, you need to ask at http://wordpress.org/support/ since the software used here is different and few, if any, around here know anything about the software you are using.

  I just got the blog tonight because from everything I read, WordPress is the best for RSS aggregation.

  I haven’t done anything about hosting except using wordpress.

  RSS aggregators, as far as I know cannot be uploaded or used here at wordpress.com. You can place RSS widgets in the sidebar (presentation > widgets) for feeds, but you cannot have a feed shown in the main area of the pages.

  I’ve already uploaded a wordpress aggregation feed. I just need to know how to get it from the uploader to the widget page. It’s suppose to work via the dashboard.

  Where are you getting the information for how it’s supposed to work? Are you trying to use a plugin?

  Only the download is available. There wasn’t much info about what you do after you download. Yes, it’s a plugin. I’ll email the guy who did the software in the morning…………………..:)

  Plugins cannot be used here at wordpress.com. When they say a plugin works with wordpress, they mean with the self-hosted version of wordpress from wordpress.org which you would install on at a web host.
