RSS button not showing on PressRow theme

Please tell me how to make the RSS icon “display” on the PressRow theme (right hand column under Archives) for http://gerryspence.wordpress.com
The little “broken image” icon is there in place of the RSS icon, and if you click the “broken image” icon you still go to the feed…but you can’t tell it’s a feed on the blog.

Since your blog is private, I cannot take a look. Where is the icon you are using stored? Is it one that you uploaded to the blog space, or is it one of the ones that wordpress has provided?

If the button happens to be one that you have uploaded, then check in the media library to see if it is still showing up there. If not, you might have to rename it, upload it again, and then change the image URL in the image link in the sidebar.

I added the RSS widget to your blog, configured with your blog’s feed. Is this what you are looking for?

After bubel’s change, the image is appearing in the sidebar. I’ve seen quite a few having image issues over the past few days, so it may have just been a server caching issue.
As far as mutual friends, the word “Riverton” would probably bring back some memories.

Hi – it’s JP re: Gerry’s blog again. When I click the icon, it generates the feed. (Good)
But when I click the words “RSS Feed” it doesn’t do anything…(Bad)
WDYT?

That’s strange, I’ve never played much with the RSS widget, but I just tried it on my test blog with a different theme and saw the same behavior, so I suppose it is actually working correctly.
You could use the link that bubel provided and put an image into a text widget linked to the feed, and then also do a text link beside it, again linked to the feed. Sort of a “build your own.”
I’ll send you an email shortly. One thing to remember though is to disguise your email ( email [at] ISP [dot] com. If you don’t, you are surely to get the attention of the spammers.
