RSS error

  Hi

  My RSS feed does not seem to be working, when I click on the feed from my blog site I get the following error message:

  “Safari can’t open the page “feed://loolt.wordpress.com/feed/”. The error was: “The feed could not be loaded because the content is not in a known feed format.” (PubSub:2)”

  and updates are not appearing on feed aggregators that I am subscribed to.

  Any suggestions?

  Your feed does not validate: http://validator.w3.org/feed/check.cgi?url=http%3A%2F%2Floolt.wordpress.com%2Ffeed%2F .

  It appears that under settings > reading you have your character encoding set to UTF-11, which will cause this problem. Feeds need to see UTF-8, which supports all languages.

  Set your character encoding to UTF-8 and click save changes and everything should return to normal for you.

  Hi there. I’m having a similar problem. The feed validates, but I get the same error message. Feed is: feed://urbandiscoveriesblog.com/feed/

  Everything was working fine until 2 weeks ago. I upgraded to 2.8.4 today, but that did not help. Any suggestions?
