RSS feed doesn’t show all posts.

The RSS feed for my blog picks up only 16 posts though my blog has over 160 posts in it.

Things I have changed (about 16 posts ago though) include adding a new domain name and changing my display name.

I have had a play with the reading settings>syndication shows the most recent… field but that doesn’t seam to have helped.

All suggestions gratefully received. Thank you.

Oof, if you show a full 160 posts on your RSS feed, I would never subscribe to your feed considering that every month I bounce up against my 5GB wireless internet bandwidth limit. Right now I’m putting off three OS updates till after the 29th because they will put me over.

    Just sayin…

That said, I checked your feed, and I’m only seeing 10.

I would contact staff directly on this at http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/ .

    I also see 10.
To be honest 169 is going to lose you readers. If I subscribe to a blog I expect to see that latest 10 or so posts. I see that as some sort of standard. If my reader starts downloading 169 posts I’ll quit, unsub and look elsewhere.
They know where the blog is and the 10 and more you post will give them a better idea of looking back into archives.

Another way of looking at it. Your blog has 169 posts and you would like everyone to read them. One of my blogs at around 11,000 posts and if I put that into a feed it would break readers, lose people I would like to read. It’s like bloggers here who think having every posts they’ve ever written on their front page – it doesn’t help, crashes browsers and loses readers.

10 is okay, your readership will not be harmed.
