RSS Feed Encoding Errors
-
We have an RSS feed that sends articles from our blog at nowplayingaustin.wordpress.com to austincreativealliance.org–another wordpress powered site. The problem I encounter is some sort of character encoding issue between the two websites but I can’t seem to figure out how to fix it. Punctuation marks/symbols cause other symbols and diamond-question mark things to show up.
Here is a picture of the error. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

WordPress.COM is set to UTF-8, which is the defacto web standard now, covers all browsers and all languages.
Check your self-hosted blog character encoding at settings > reading and make sure it is set for UTF-8.
