RSS feed installation
-
Hi there! I’m trying to add my personal blog to Bloglovin, and I keep getting errors concerning my RSS feed. I tried going to caffeinatedthreads.wordpress.com/feed/ and it says ‘No RSS Feeder Installed.’ Do you have to pay for the business plan to install the RSS feeder? Or is there way to activate the RSS feed that I’m not seeing. Thank you!

Hi there,
According to the help pages, you should have a feed already setup and running. Opening the page
https://caffeinatedthreads.wordpress.com/feed/looks like it’s working to me.Could the issue be a configuration/setup issue on the Bloglovin side?
You may have some luck looking through the Bloglovin help site.

I hope that helps :)

Hi there,
Your site’s RSS feed at https://caffeinatedthreads.wordpress.com/feed is working fine. But if you’re just trying to visit that in your browser, that won’t necessarily work, as not all browsers support directing accessing an RSS feed in that way.
The error you mention is specific to Safari, which is one of the major browsers, along with Firefox, that can’t open an RSS feed. The RSS reader the error refers to is an add-on you need to install on Safari itself to enable it to access the feed, and have nothing at all to do with your site. If you try to visit it in Chrome instead, you’ll see your site’s feed there.
So there’s no problem with your feed, and nothing you need to activate as the feed is already active. You can just submit that feed to Bloglovin, following their instructions. If you have any trouble with the process on their end, please contact their support directly for help.

Thank you both! I appreciate the help and clarifications. This looks like a Bloglovin issue and not a WordPress issue…
