RSS feed link in sidebar
-
I would like to have a link to my blog’s feed in the sidebar, and I think i followed the instructions on the FAQ page. This is what I placed in the text box:
<img src=”http://faq.files.wordpress.com/2006/11/c64.png” />
But the box is blank. I don’t know as much as I should about HTML, so maybe there’s a simple mistake. I just thought it would be easier to ask here than to try over and over again.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Well, maybe someone could just explain why the text box might be blank, when I followed the instructions with my blog name and the image URL.

If you copied and pasted from the FAQ, then it would bring in curly quotes that mess things up. Copy and paste the following.
<a href="http://throughagreenlens.wordpress.com/feed/"><img class="alignnone" title="RSS" src="http://faq.files.wordpress.com/2006/11/c64.png" alt="" width="64" height="64" /></a> -

Hi Yolisang.
That is possible. Go to the widgets section under “appearances” in the left hand column. Choose text widget and paste the text provided by thesacredpath (but replace the url with the correct one from your site).

Also, if you want the RSS image with an alpha channel, you can get it here: http://www.variawa.co.za/?page_id=93

oh, nevermind. it seems that it’s not set up to let you download just one. looking for another source (before I go about making it myself in photoshop)
