RSS feed not functioning

    Okay, I’ve tried using feedburner and whatever the automatic WordPress feed is, and neither are showing up. Trying for the WordPress feed first, then I may be back to figure out Feedburner.

    Here’s what I did:

    Went to the Design page on my Dashboard.

    Clicked on Widgets

    Dragged the RSS feed over to the right-hand side.

    Entered the following feed into the address box:

    <img src=”image-location” />
    <img src=”image-location” />

    Here’s what it says on the actual blog when I go to look at it:

    An error has occurred; the feed is probably down. Try again later.

    When I go look at the RSS widget again over in my Dashboard, here’s what it now says for the URL in place of the one I entered above:

    http://ink.wordpress.com/feed

    The actual URL for the blog is http://rogueink.wordpress.com

    PLEASE help. I’m going nuts here trying to figure this out.

    Also, even if you can’t help with this, is there an easy way to find topics I’ve posted so I can see responses? I can’t seem to figure that out.

    You can find where you’ve posted in the forum by clicking on Member, just under your username.

    As for the feed, it looks to me like the code you posted here got messed up. You shouldn’t post images where you want the feed URL posted. I can only assume some of your code got stripped: post it between backticks, those things on the same key as the ~, so we can see it.

    I use the RSS widget: put it in the sidebar, put the URL of my blog with /feed on the end, hit update. Note that TSP has discovered that saving changes on a text widget involves a few extra steps this weekend, while they’re working out the bugs of the new system. Here are his tips:
