RSS feed not working
-
rss feed returns a 404 not found error thru a vb.net reader and won’t get consumed to a 3rd party site or thru outlook.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Your feed looks fine here:
http://pcsxcetrasupport3.wordpress.com/feed/
Are you able to follow other WordPress.com sites via vb.net?
-
The only site I tried was mine. Perhaps I need a better Application to try or build.
I still cant get Outlook to consume it either.
I tried a feed validator and it showed a few problems, but showed it was good.
http://www.rssboard.org/rss-validator/check.cgi?url=http%3A%2F%2Fpcsxcetrasupport3.wordpress.com%2Ffeed%2FI’m not sure what the problem would be.

I found another VB.Net application to try and it will pull it,but will need tweaked to handle some of the page errors.
Still not sure why Outlook will not pull it though.
-
I’m not seeing any other Outlook errors, so I don’t have much data to contribute there.
Do you get a specific error message? Or does it look successful, but just not work?
-
I’m not seeing any errors thru outlook that I have found so far.
I have several feeds it checks. It will pick up others but the last one it picked up for my blog was 12/3/2012.I have had a few more post since then.
A site admin where it gets consumed to is able to somehow able “Force” it to get consumed to the site, but they never told me how.
I will try to use wireshark and see what it shows for that one link.
Make sure it is returning something.Perhaps my site settings for the rss is not set correctly in some way.
There only seems to be 2 settings for Rss though. Thanks for your time and help.

Just seen something strange in the info.
X-hacker: If you’re reading this, you should visit automattic.com/jobs and apply to join the fun, mention this header.Does this mean my blog has been hacked ?

Does this mean my blog has been hacked ?
Nope. Nothing to worry about there. That’s just a little message we hide. We figure that if someone is poking around that deeply in the feed, they might be the kind of person who would be interested in applying for a job at Automattic.

Ok thanks I’ll have to take a closer look at the API and learn what all of the header info means.
So back to the drawing board.I’ll have to track down what the Porblem is then in outlook since it doesn not seem to be a server problem.
Thanks again for your time and information.
