RSS Feed Not Working
-
This blog is just for a group of techs I oversee. They’ve all subscribed to the RSS Feed, but when I update the page they don’t receive the updates. Any idea what the problem could be?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Are you updating a static page, or are you updating the blog, ie posts? Are you making new posts or just fiddling with old ones, because the latter does not, as far as I’m aware, send out new notifications.

My feed link is not working from the last 24 hours and this seems to be a problem with many guys who have moved to google from feedburner feeds. http://feeds2.feedburner.com/AmitBhawani anyone found any good help on this?

The site linked to your name is not a WordPress.com blog, so you’re in the wrong forum and we won’t be able to help you.

Have added the RSS widegt to my blog. However on my blog when I click on RSS or commnets, an HTLM editor opens. the feed is not working
-
Infact none of the wordpress RSS feeds seem to be working, though they are working for the other sites.

http://ismyblogworking.com/www.amitbhawani.com – “Your RSS feed returned a 404 error.”
http://ismyblogworking.com/scmabstractions.wordpress.com – “Your RSS feed is available.”
-
scmabstractions, sorry, I think I misunderstood your question. What blog are you referring to? I see no RSS widget on scmabstractions.wordpress.com.

Raincoaster, this is when I add new posts to the blog. My subscribers are not getting those additions.
The blog is at http://fhctech.wordpress.com.

I want to use Feedburner to allow people to subscribe by email, but my RSS page doesn’t seem to work at all. It just says, “Page not found.” I thought maybe it was because I had only static pages, so I added a post page, but when I click on “RSS feeds,” it still says “Page not found.” I’m sure I’m just overlooking some simple step! Thanks for any help, my page is marshalljonfisher.wordpress.com.

I’m having RSS feed problems too. I’ve successfully used the RSS widget to put a Follow me on Twitter blurb and feed on my webpage, and I’d like to do the same for my WordPress blog that has its own address (isn’t part of my website). I used the feed style information provided at http://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Feeds#Finding_Your_Feed_URL, then retried using above: http://address.com/feed/
But I still get this message, instead of the widget, on the page:
Warning: Attempt to assign property of non-object in /home/evbi5733/public_html/wp-includes/rss.php on line 449
And in the line where I’ve pasted the RSS feed URL, it says they can’t find a RSS or ATOM feed at that address.
Please help!
Thanks!

@marshalljonfisher, your feed it here: http://marshalljonfisher.wordpress.com/feed/ and I see it just fine.
With feedburner, you might have to try using one of the following:
http://marshalljonfisher.wordpress.com/feed (without the ending slash)
feed://marshalljonfisher.wordpress.com/feed/
feed://marshalljonfisher.wordpress.com/feed/ (without the ending slash)I really wish the web would get this stuff standardized so that all the feed aggregators take the links in the same way rather than 4 different ways depending on which way the wind blows.
