RSS Feed not working… again

  My RSS widget area is not working again. Today is the turn of the “Diocesi Sarde” widget. I’ve checked the feed URL but It seems to be fine.

  Any idea how to correct this problem?

  Have you removed the widget that you are having trouble with? We won’t be able to try to assist if so.

  Regardless, what a lovely customization of the Chateau theme! Bravo!

  It looks like the DIOCESE SARDE feed is working when I view the site. Can you offer more details on how it is not functioning properly for you?

  exactly… the widget “Diocesi Sarde” is on the footer.

  sometimes the three widgets “Diocesi sarde”, “Altre fonti” and “Periodici Sardegna” stop working with no reason at all. The only thing I can see is an error message saying something like “…maybe the feed is not working…” but if I visit the URL Feed everything seems working fine.

  Hi sardegnaterradipace,

  Currently all of the feeds appear to be working. If/when it happens again, please let us know. A screenshot (uploaded to your media library) could be useful, as well as if you notice the interruption right after posting to that category or anything else that could be helpful in narrowing down when/why this is happening.

  Hi sardegnaterradipace,

  I’ve used Yahoo Pipes in the past (Lifestream from a number of online sources) and, as you’ve pointed out, Pipes on occasion stopped working for some reason. You might want to follow them on twitter, as it appears they post status updates there.

  If those feeds are critical to you, it would be best to open instead a separate, direct RSS Widget for each feed that is going through that Pipe. There’s currently no limit on the number of RSS widgets you can add to your site.

  Ypipes’s issue!! :/ That would explain why the rss disappears and reappears on its own. Hope Yahoo solves it soon.
