RSS feed not working anymore

  Hi,

  a number of users notified me that RSS feeds don’t work anymore. If I try to add the feed(s) myself, in two different programs, anything posted after December 11 2014 isn’t shown.

  Only articles posted *before* December 12 will be loaded and shown. It seems as it just stopped working after December 11.

  Note that Chrome browser do not have built-in feedreaders so those complaining need to go to https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/rss-subscription-extensio/nlbjncdgjeocebhnmkbbbdekmmmcbfjd?hl=en and download the required extension.

  Yep, Merry Christmas is the last post – and nobody using RSS got notified, nor for other articles after December 11.

  The programs used by readers vary – The old Reader, Thunderbird, FireFox. None of them are updated anymore.

  Will you please provide a couple of usernames for those WordPress.com bloggers who did not receive the emails as well as a couple of email addresses for those who do not have WordPress.com accounts The software will redact ie. HIDE the email addresses so only Staff can see them.

  None of them are WordPress users. They don’t follow by e-mail either, although I advised them to use ‘follow by e-mail’ for the time being.

  Update: the users involved got HTTP status 12029 from the feed deamon. This was an Internet Explorer error message. After going to advanced internet options and setting TLS 1.0 TLS 1.1 en TLS 1.2 to ‘On’, the problem was solved.

  I’ll change the status to ‘Solved’.
