RSS Feed of my blog contains unpublished articles

The title says it all. I have removed articles in the past from my blog. Just because I thought they dont fit in there anymore. Today I subscribed to the RSS of my blog (to not miss any news you know ;-) ) and found that all articles, even the articles I “unpublished” in the past, are part of the feed.

IMHO only the published articles should be part of the feed.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

But those articles were published. And when they were published, they went out as part of the feed. The feed is a record of what has been published; only on the blog itself can you unpublish things.

But that is what I did. I unpublished 2 articles months ago in my dashboard. Today I subscribed to the feed of my blog in Google Reader and the 2 articles are in the feed. That shouldnt be possible.

  • otomo, those posts are no longer in your RSS feed. The problem is with Google Reader: it downloads and stores each post forever, and never removes them if they disappear from the feed.

ah, ok. I had a slight suspicion that it had something to do with Google Reader. Thanks for the clarification. :-)
