RSS feed on Author Central

  I’m attempting to put an RSS feed from my blog on author central and get an error message the URL isn’t a RSS feed.
  My website is lizzienewell.com. I’ve tried
  http://www. lizzienewell.com/feed/
  http://lizzienewell.com/feed/
  http://lizzienewell.com/?feed=rss
  http://lizzienewell.com/rss
  all variations both with and without www
  I went to my dashboard and changed read to summary. Still no success. I’ve spoken to other writers with the same problem.

  http://lizzienewell.com/ is not hosted by WordPress.com and we cannot help you here. WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support forums. http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there.

  If I understand lizzie’s post, I’m trying to do the same thing, link my WordPress blog to my Author Central page. I’m told my url is not valid, but I think that’s because I included the “www.” before talesfromoutthere.wordpress.com. I’m also being asked to provide ASIN and Vendor codes and I have no idea what they might be or where I could find them…

  Arklab, you can provide either ASIN, which is a number assigned by kindle or ISBN. To get the ASIN, look on Amazon for your book. For ISBN, you either purchase the numbers or your publisher purchases them from Bowker. You can buy a single number or you can buy in blocks of either 10 or 100. Once you make your book available, you go back to Bowker and fill in the info for each number.

  I share this problem. My blog is bobrich18.wordpress.com
  I need to specify the RSS feed to this at Author Central, and have no idea how to do it. Any advice gratefully appreciated.
