RSS Feed Showing Full Content

My blog has an RSS feed that gets distributed weekly in an email newsletter. The RSS feed has been showing the full blog posts rather than just the excerpts all of a sudden. I went into Reading Settings and “Excerpt” is selected but we are still seeing the full content in the emails.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey there, I can’t see how the site is set up because it isn’t hosted here on our services. My guess, though, would be that there’s some kind of plugin conflict causing this, or perhaps a setting isn’t getting the excerpt correctly.
You may be able to use a plugin like Health Check to sort it out:
Otherwise, check to see what recent changes happened on the site (software updates, new plugins, new settings, etc) and you’ll likely suss out the cause.
