RSS feed widget does not work in Chrome for Mystique theme
-
My standard browser is Chrome. When I select the RSS button on my blog it gives me a bunch of text (HTML I believe). That’s it.
It works perfectly in IE.
Now, I hope most of my readers don’t use Chrome.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Chrome is a web browser, not an RSS reader. Google wants to drive everyone to use Google Reader instead.

Aaah…makes sense but I’m not sure its the best way to do things.
For example, I’m in Chrome now, and I see this RSS widget to the right of this page and want to subscribe to the feed. I get garbage. So, I need to go into Reader, browse for it, find it and then subscribe. Hmmmm…
Thanks again for clearing this up.

The fact that Google decided not to natively support RSS feeds in the Chrome browser has caused a lot of whining from around the internet. Don’t even try and figure out the mind of Google or why they do things, that is a dark place no one should go.
The do have an RSS add-on for Chrome, and there are several third-party RSS reader add-ons as well. Just search for them on the internet and you will find links.
