RSS feed with passwordprotected blog

Hi,
I am running a blog with my colleagues which are working on distant places. We want to keep the entries private – so we choose the password option.
Is there any way to get the rss-feed running?

I’ve gone ahead and removed the “solution” provided by posters as it concerned the regular wordpress software obtained from http://wordpress.org and hosted elsewhere. I’ve done this so not to confuse folks by seeing an incorrect answer.
If you’re running a blog hosted elsewhere, the support forums for that are over at http://wordpress.org We run different software here and our answers are very different usually.

But isn’t it important to know, that there is an solution – even if it means to install wordpress and host it elsewhere?
I run my blog currently on wordpress.com – and checked out if installing wordpress on a new domain at bluehost will solve the problem.

That’s not the solution for the blogs hosted here at wp.com. It doesn’t solve the issue.
Please remember that wordpress.com is not regular wordpress. They are seperate. Also not everybody can go out and get hosting or feel comfortable with regular wordpress or their own hosting.
If one can do something with regular wordpress that one can’t do with wp.com, we’ll tell them that and point them to the correct website.
edit: Please also note that the forums are seperate. We’re not supposed to be discussing the regular wordpress software here as it will lead to confusion with those hosted here. It’s bad enough when folks see ‘wordpress’ elsewhere on line and automattically think that also means wordpress.com

I understand. I also thought, that the basis for both is the same software and the only difference between them is the service that one not has to deal with the installation and setup.
But meanwhile I find slight difference.
