RSS Feeds

  In Internet Explorer, when I go to URL alderburydeanery.wordpress.com I see my blog and the RSS feed button is orange/live (View feeds on this Page). All is well, I want feeds to be visible and available.

  I have a domain called http://www.alderburydeanery.co.uk . I have pointed the web forwarding address to alderburydeanery.wordpress.com .

  Again in IE, when I enter the url http://www.alderburydeanery.co.uk I go straight to the alderburydeanery.wordpress.com blog. However, the RSS feed button is greyed out (No feeds detected)

  New user, am I missing something. I want people to be able to get feeds on this site. Any suggestions welcome. Thanks

  I think it is because you are using domain forwarding instead of domain mapping. I checked it in Firefox – and the RSS feed is NOT available when using the .co.uk address but works fine on the wordpress.com address.

  Can someone help me with my RSS feed? It’s not displaying the proper dates. I changed the UTC in my blog admin and it still didn’t fix the problem. I posted a question in another forum, but no one answered. Thank you in advance.

  Thanks Raincoaster and Vivianpaige. Reckon that to have a forwarding domain approach doesn’t work for RSS feeds. Found a work around, put a RSS Feed URL in my post. As it is a direct feed URL it works fine.
