RSS feeds and URL address

To start with my URL address, it is spelt incorrectly, http://onlinesucess.wordpress.com. I was fully aware of this when i did it but i just wanted to get my blog up and running! Is this going to have any implications on my views, or anything along those lines?? I have a URL (www.whoismarkeverett.com) forwards to the blog it that makes any difference??
Also RSS feeds are not my forte. In truth i dont fully understand them! How do I know that my blog and posts etc are being tracked or crawled, and is there anything i can do to generally increase or should i even say get my blog up in the search engines?? Any tips would be much appricated??
