RSS Feeds and WP.com storage limits
-
Do RSS feeds shown on my pages count towards WP.com account storage?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Pages do not have RSS feeds. Only Posts have RSS Feeds.
https://en.support.wordpress.com/feeds/Storage space is for media.

The stuff in your custom menu like LinkedIn etc isn’t actually hosted at WordPress.com so it doesn’t count against your storage here.

It seems like I was not clear of what my questions. Here is another attempt: I am planning to have a page on my blog site that pulls RSS feeds from various other sources and displays the RSS feed content on my page. Does the content of the RSS feeds that I am pulling from other sources count towards my storage limit if I display with on my page?

Please the types of blogs that are not allowed:
Automated blogs: Blogs that are generated by computers, including randomly generated blogs, blogs that re-publish press releases, marketing material, search engine results, link dumps or any other mass-produced content. https://wordpress.com/types-of-blogs/
Bottom line: That’s not possible and not allowed on a WordPress.COM blog. We bloggers are not provided with the ability to “splog” ie. there are no tools provided that we can use to fill posts or pages with content from RSS Feeds.

A little correction: What I am trying to do is possible and I have tested to see that it works. In regards to automated blogs, I don’t think this would fall into an automated blog. When WordPress.com talks about an automated blog, it is referring to blogs that produce content automatically and does not refer to blog that consume content and display it. At least that is my understanding… :)
..still waiting for an answer to my original inquiry though…

No, it does not but it will get your blog suspended. Yes, it will. We’ve been through this with many blogs before yours. We have seen what happens.

Did the previous blogs use RSS as I am proposing to use it? Is there any official/employee on this forum from WordPress.com that can answer if the RSS feeds consumption and display is strictly prohibited?
