RSS feeds on a Private blog

  Hi,
  I marked my blog Private. But when I post, it seems like the the RSS subscribers still get the complete post. I had subscribed myself to the RSS feed and got the complete post emailed to me. Is there a way to prevent the RSS feeds from going out of my private blog? Thanks!

  Your feeds are created automatically unless you mark your blog as private. The content of password-protected posts will not display in your blog’s feed.

  Thanks. After I marked my blog private, the RSS feeds still have the content of the post.

  Is it old or new content? If it is old – then try making a new Post to see if the RSS feed is updated. I don’t think RSS feeds are updated until there is new content – so the old stuff might hang around – sort of like an abandoned car by the side of a road

  It’s a new post I did after going private.
  I just tried to do another sample post and the RSS feed comes with the content of this new post as well.
