RSS feeds.. what does this mean?

  Error: could not find an RSS or ATOM feed at that URL.

  I’m using the Misty look. Can this template have an RSS feed?

  The Misty Look theme has built in (look for the orange icons in the header) rss feeds for both “comments” and “posts”. And all wordpress.com blogs have rss feeds simply by putting the meta widget into the sidebar. Aside from that you can use this http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/10/23/put-your-feed-in-your-sidebar/

  Please post th url for your wordpress.com blog and then we will tell you what your feed links are. It seems that you are using the wrong one(s). Also note that “private” blogs do not have rss feeds because if they did they would not be private.

  I have the widget in… but when I click on it that’s where the error is… and I don’t see any RSS feed symbols.. unless they’re really tiny somewhere…

  OOPS! In the time it took for me to post the re4ply above you changed to the Ocean Mist theme. It does not have the built in rss feeds in the header like the MistyLook theme does. You will have to either place the Meta widget in the sidebar to have “entries” and “comments” feeds or you will have to use this method http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/10/23/put-your-feed-in-your-sidebar/

  In either case the feed for the blog entries is http://deesfirstflight.wordpress.com/feed/ and the feed for comments is http://deesfirstflight.wordpress.com/comments/feed/

  I do not see the Meta widget in your sidebar. When you place it there it will have feeds but there will be no orange icons.

  If you prefer to use icons instead of the Meta widget then the link you need is the “feed in your sidebar” one that I gave you above.

  Well I had the RSS Widget in the widgets sidebar but that’s where the error was… so I used the Text Widget instead. Looks messy tho. I’m not really liking it but… it’ll do I suppose

  I’m not so concerned about RSS’s with comments, but only my posts.

  Your are saying RSS widget. Take note that I am saying Meta widget.
