RSS for Google Talk status?
-
Just wanted to know how I can get the RSS feed for my GTalk status. It’s typical that iFrame codes are blocked too, so now I’m downright limited. I tried using my FriendFeed aggregator that feed updates, but the RSS reader widget only shows “Had a new status message on Google Talk”. It doesn’t say what the status is. If you know any places or ideas that can either convert the status messages to an RSS, or have non-javascript widgets, please let me know.

There IS a solution:

Thanks raincoaster, but I want it to display the message as well. Not just the link. As far as it’s concerned, WordPress needs to add it sometime soon unless there’s a way to feed it into a reader.

Maybe my tutorial helps you.

That helps. At least until we can find a way to put the status message in the link (while there are no iframe tags). Though it would still require some javascript to forward the data. Thanks for the suggestions.
