RSS for private group blogs?

  Is it possible to receive an rss feed from a private group blog, so that it will show up on my newsreader if someone else in the group posts or comments?

  I have tried to pick up a rss feed like this through Google Reader, and it tells me that no feed is available. I presume that this is because of privacy protection?

  In order to actually be private there are no rss feeds to private blogs. Thus I suppose you’ll either have to visit the blog in question or have those that post to it agree to simply send email notifications to the other members.
