RSS or cross posting
-
I have a RSS feed that I would like to automatically make posts out of, can I do that?
Or
Can I have a post on a blog automatically appear on my other blog?
the page is http://newthink.wordpress.com and I want to auto bring in RSS items and make them blog posts.
-
Nope, you can’t do that here. I’m sure there’s some tools out there that support that.
Doesn’t that count as spamming? Having the same content at multiple places? I know that Google and other search engines will probably knock you down a few points for duplicate content/cross posting.
I know that sploggers use software like that to copy everyone else’s posts via RSS and then post under their account at their blogs, etc.

Also, that link redirects me to a non-Wordpress.com hosted blog (http://newthinking.bearingpoint.com/), so you may be in the wrong forum.
-
If you’re hosted somewhere else and using the WordPress software, you’ll probably get more help in the wordpress.org forums.

Hi,
I’ve come across a site named Multiply.com where they allow cross posting. Cross posting is not for spamming purposes, rather it is for bloggers who maintain multiple number of blogging accounts on different sites so they won’t have to go thru the messy process of copy pasting and logging in and out of the online blogs they keep. Cross posting enables these type of bloggers to have their entry posted in their other accounts by just posting it in one of their accounts.Multiply does it with LiveJournal. As well as Blogger.

Why can’t we have the same here?

You’ll have to ask staff directly via the Support button on your dashboard.
Cross-posting slaughters your SEO, btw.
