RSS: Show as on front page

    Hi,

    For the RSS feeds, it would be great if there was a way to make articles show as on the front page. So everything would be displayed as normal, up to the <!--more--> tag, where it would display the normal “Continue reading…” link.

    Only one answer to this simple question http://www.feedburner.com/ :)
    Am i right ?

    else go to wp-admin >> Setting >> Reading Settings >> For each article in a feed, show (Select >> Summary)
    Thats all.

    I suggest use Feedburner.

    @inferiorlight – that is the way the more tag used to work here, although it didn’t work that way anywhere else. It finally got changed to include the full feed and ignore the more tag. If you don’t want the full article in the feed, the best answer isn’t feedburner (which uses your wordpress.COM feed, anyway) but to set your feed to summary. The setting is found in your dashboard under settings>reading and then chose the radio button under “For each article in a feed, show”

    @cchetanonline – it appears that you do not have a wordpress.COM blog (or at least the blog listed in your user name is not hosted here.) As the result, please be aware that we use different software here and your answers may not be accurate.

    @vivianpaige
    I think we both have given one and the same answer.
    btw, yes i dont have wordpress.COM hosted blog. so thanks for alerting me about the changes, next time i will take care of this.

    No we didn’t. Your answer says use Feedburner and mine said that since Feedburner relies on the WordPress.COM feed, you HAVE to set it in your dashboard.

    Since you do not have a wordpress.COM blog, you should be over at http://wordpress.ORG/support/

    I think we can use Feedburner with WordPress.COM blogs !
    One of my friend have Feedburner feeds from WordPress.COM blog

    Did you read what I wrote? Yes, we can use Feedburner but Feedburner relies on the wordpress.COM feed and its settings.

    Since you don’t have a blog here, please don’t confuse our users by giving them advice that is inaccurate. (You will also note that my dashboard directions are different from yours because our titles are different.)
