RSS Step By Step
-
Ok, I’ve tried to do what I’ve read, but it’s just not working. I want to put a RSS widget in my sidebar so that people can click it and get my blog fed to their reader. Can someone give me step by step to do that?

The RSS widget is to bring other feeds into your blog. Your theme almost certainly has an orange RSS symbol built in for people to subscribe.

Go to Dashboard > Presentation > Widgets. Select the Feeds widget from the Available Widgets box. Use your mouse to drag it over to the Sidebar box and release it; the widget should settle into the box. Click save changes and you’re done.
You can also use the Meta Widget. If it’s still not working, what’s not working for you? Are you having trouble saving the widget in your sidebar?
Edit: Sorry Ella, didn’t see you there. :)

Perhaps we should confirm that you do have a wordpress.com blog and not one from wordpress.org. Will you please post the url for your blog so we can see it?{waving to ellaella and cjwriter}
