RSS Widget and GitHub Feed Not Working?

  Hey guys,

  I’ve been wanting to add an RSS feed of my (relatively new) GitHub activity to my WordPress.com site. Every time that I do, however I get “An error has occurred; the feed is probably down. Try again later.” in place of the RSS feed.

  Here’s what I’m doing:
  Log into WordPress
  Add the RSS Widget
  Add the following url to the RSS widget: http://github.com/GaProgMan.atom
  Hit Save
  Browse to the WordPress site to see the RSS widget

  I’ve used both the W3 (results) and FeedBurner (results) checkers to check the link. I’ve double checked that I’m including the correct link, too.

  Is there some step that I’m missing?
