RSS Widget – CSS text color / black, how to set / white

I’m using the “Contempt” theme template. All widgets added so far match the theme, blue with white text except RSS widget. Support says I need to buy custom CSS tools and reconfigure it. Is there another solution? Does anyone else have this issue? It just look funny everything is “neat” but one black text widget.

The only reason the text in the RSS widget is black is because it is text and not a link.

Just my 2¢ worth, I can’t see where you would want to use white text on a gray background. Would be difficult to see.
