RSS Widget not reading feed

  Hi

  I’m having some issues with setting up an RSS widget using a BBC RSS feed. (See http://footballpredictionleague.wordpress.com)

  The feed I’m trying to use is :

  feed://newsrss.bbc.co.uk/rss/sportonline_uk_edition/football/rss.xml

  Which is the RSS version of this :

  http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/default.stm

  When I put the feed:// into the RSS widget, it tells me that “An error has occured; the feed is probably down. Try again later.”

  Anyone help me out here – I’ve never managed to get a feed to work.

  Greets:

  Use http:// instead of feed://

  Granted the feed:// is probably more correct but the http:// worked fine for me.

  http: //newsrss.bbc.co.uk/rss/sportonline_uk_edition/football/rss.xml

  A space was added after the colon to get it to show up here. Remove it when you use it.
