RSS Widget not working

  I’m trying to incorporate Google Reader into a blog I am creating. First, I attempted to add the HTML to my template, but WordPress doesn’t support Java. Lucky for me, Google Reader allows me to have an RSS Feed. My Feed is here: http://www.google.com/reader/public/atom/user/10867632433828918985/state/com.google/broadcast

  I used the RSS Widget and it worked at first. The first item I added to my Reader was a test post to my own blog. It appeared as I expected on the sidebar of my blog. However, when I removed this item from my Reader and replaced it with something else, the widget never updated; on my blog the widget still links to my original test post, not the new item. Google Reader is working correctly, so the problem has to be on the WordPress end. Help!
