RSS Widget Not Working?

Anyway, no matter what feed I place in the RSS widget, it says that it is out of order…. on all three of them so far. Who do I contact if the feed is down? Is is just a coincidence that they are all down together? I read the instructions on how to do this, and am sure I made no mistakes, but you never know…
I appreciate any help!

Post the address here of the feed you are trying to show. (And right this minute, all 3 of the links you have in the feed go to your own blog, not somewhere else)

Hi there, I’ve just started blogging a couple days ago. I’m using WordPress and having a terrible time getting the RSS icon to appear on my blog and to function. It took forever to figure out how to get the icon to appear but now, below the icon, it says “An error has occurred; the feed is probably down. Try again later.” It has said that for hours. Have I done something wrong? What can I do to get it working? I am finding the way it is explained to be extremely confusing.

http://www.myyogaonline.com/blog/Anyway, these two feeds ARE going to my blog. I have two of them on wordpress. The one in question is listen in the first post.

virgomonkey – neither of those are links to feeds, they are links to the websites themselves. You have to look for the little RSS icon on the blogs to find the feed.
The feed for the 1st one is http://feeds.feedburner.com/EverythingYoga
The feed for the second one is http://feeds.feedburner.com/MyYogaOnlineNewWorldBlog

And when I said the feeds are going to your own blog, I meant they are really just links to http://suptavirasana.wordpress.com/ If you have another blog, that is not correct.

Vivian, thanks. I had been subscribing in the google reader and getting the feed links from there rather than picking them up from the actual sites. So, that is good to know. But the feeds still aren’t showing up on my blog. I only got one out of three to work. I will trying waiting it out a bit in hopes that the feed is just genuinely down. If not, I’ll come back here and raise my hand lol. :)

Two of your feeds are still going back to http://suptavirasana.wordpress.com/ – the links “everything yoga” and “yoga online” Did you save the feeds after you changed them?
In other words, you edit the widget, put the correct link in and save changes, then save changes at the bottom of the widgets page. Then do the same thing for the next one.

Glad to help (although if I were you, I’d configure the RSS widget to not show item dates – it’s one of the options in the RSS widget configuration).
