RSVP Plugin

  I want to use the RSVP plugin from wordpress.org but only have my website through wordpress.com. Unfortunately its currently not available here but I think this would be a good feature to add, especially since there have been a number of other users asking about this feature on this forum.
  If this is not changing any time in the next few months does anyone know another way to incorporate a more advanced RSVP where the guests have to input their name and if its on the list it will bring up their RSVP and associated guests?
