Rude WordPress member post from your staff
-
Your WordPress team sent a negative noreply message to my blog. I had my first time being interviewed by an Editor in Chief announced it on my page to my friends, gave the link, then liked it myself cause I was so excited. I got a message from wordpress saying “you liked your own post. You’re so vain you probably think Aspiring Authors Interview is about you.” This ruined my whole first interview experience thanks a lot!!! What kind of site butts in and posts something like that?! I am extremely mad about this and want an apology sent!!

This looks like the only post so far on your site.
http://gettingthefinalword.wordpress.com/2013/09/25/aspiring-author-interview-is-up/Hello my friends! I am very excited to share that as of 11:00 today my aspiring author interview was posted.
No one coming across that blog would have any idea about who you are, or what you are trying to accomplish, say, discuss, or do with your site .
I’m a volunteer so I cannot say why you would have gotten such a message:
I got a message from wordpress saying “you liked your own post. You’re so vain you probably think Aspiring Authors Interview is about you.”
But as a 2 week old wp.com blogger, you must be aware that there is some work ahead of you to make your blog successful. You want to attract readers, so you need to write interesting original content which people will want to read.

Probably an automated message – WordPress.COM has a few strange things built in, there are some feedback stuff seems to me I turned off for publishing Posts

As far as this messsage:
You’re so vain you probably think Aspiring Authors Interview is about you.”
I completely agree that it is not nice. I have, on occasion, tested out what would happen when I “liked” one of my own posts and have never seen such a message. I think that message was not a useful thing to do.

Oh, don’t take it personally. Just blog on and write your heart out!
Also remember to put your (synthetic) elephant skin coat on while you are on the internet—often things sound or even are hard on sensitive skin, but you’ll also find some great ideas and friends… -
