Ruined my menu = no start page!

I need help resetting my blog to where the “Home” page is the first page. The problems started when I had made a menu and wanted to change the name of the page to “Välkommen” – welcome in swedish. After a few hours the end result was that I have no start page i.e. nothing sow up when you first see the blog. Can someone please tell me how I can get back to the default setting and start over?

The “home” page you have now (at the right end), is that the one you want for your “Välkommen” page?
If so, go back to appearance > menu, remove the current “home” page from the menu and save.
Now, go to the “custom links” module. In the URL field, put http://orerakommunikation.wordpress.com/home/ and in the “label” field put Välkommen. Click the “add to menu button. It will be at the bottom of the pages in the menu section. To put it in the left end, drag that page up to the top of the list, move it around a little till the grey outlined box appears at the top and then release your mouse button.
Now, open the page that currently is named “home” in the editor. Change the title to Välkommen and click “update.”

Oh, and I almost forgot. Go to settings > reading and set your “Välkommen” page as your static front page for your site.

Thanks to you I think I might have a better grasp of what went wrong. That last bit about setting my static front page was just what I was looking for – I am more used to working in Dreamweaver with inline frames and there you set an index page for each fram, but I didn’t know what this was called in FP.
Thanks again and excuse my english, I’m not a native speaker but try to do my best!
And next time I’ll try to read up a bit so I don’t mess things up again!

You’re very welcome, and no need to apologize for your english, I understood you just fine. I know people with english as their first language that don’t write it as well as you do.
